Setting Up Your WiFi Printer

Firstly, you need to take out all the covers carefully without breaking anything. Then you need to set the paper bundle and the ink into the printer.

Placing Paper Into Printer

  • Pull the paper tray towards the top and slide to open it.
  • You need to put the A4 size sheets into the tray.
  • You have to adjust the paper size to fit it in the tray.
  • Now, you have to push the tray in to the printer until it stops and locks up. 

Putting Ink cartridges

  • Usually, you will find the printer Ink cartridge on different location on printer.
  • Find your model and find it, then simple pull out the cartridge door.
  • Revolve the cartridges in such a way so that the taller end faces the printer.
  • Put the ink cartridge and press it inside the printer until it locks.

    Connecting Printer to WiFi

    There are two different ways to connect the WiFi to the printer; one is through LAN cable or through the WPS button.

    Via LAN Cable

    • You can easily connect the WiFi printer with the router via LAN cable that should be in good condition.
    • You have to connect one end of the cable to the home WiFi router LAN port.
    • Then, insert the cable other end to the printer Ethernet port.
    • You will find the port, under the protective covers given on the back of the WiFi printer.

      Via WPS Method

      • Routers have a WPS button on the front, which helps devices connect with it.
      • To connect the router to the printer, you have turn on the router and printer.
      • If your WiFi printer have touch screen, then you have to go to the Setup> Network/ Wireless Network.
      • In the Wireless Network settings, you have to select the Wi-Fi Protected setup.

      Connect to Print Pages

      It is important that you will not face printer not working issue and it is also related to the printing copies. To print a hard copy through a printer, you have to connect it with your laptop or phone or computer. Let’s see how to do it;

      Via USB Cable

      If you are using your computer or laptop to print anything, then you can use USB cable.

      • Turn on the printer and connect it to the WiFi router via LAN cable or WPS.
      • Connect the USB cable one end to the printer and one end will go in to the computer or laptop USB port.
      • Now, you can printer anything by using your computer or laptop.

      Connect Wirelessly

      You can connect the printer with your laptop or phone with the help of the Bluetooth as well as the Wi-Fi.

      • Connect your printer to the router.
      • Then, open your phone Settings and select Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings.
      • Then scan the nearby devices and select your printer name here.
      • Enter the Password and connect your device to it.

          If you are using the laptop then you have to go to the Start> Settings> Bluetooth and devices> Printers and Scanners.

          If your printer shows offline, then it occurs because of unplugging cables, internal fault, or by some kind of software issues.  Check that all the cables are connected to the printer properly and non-of them is damaged.

          You should check all the connection like printer is connected the router or the phone is connected to the WiFi network and printer.

          You have to go to the Start> Settings> Bluetooth and devices> Printers and Scanners, then just select the printer and start printing.
